Mrs. Grace Scott Jacobs, age 89, of Ariton, died Monday afternoon, June 7, 2010. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, June 10, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Flowers will be accepted. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday evening. Mrs. Jacobs was born September 9, 1920 in Winchester, Georgia to the late Daniel Raymond and Annie Jane Chapman Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cicero Jacobs. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Eugene and Betty Ann Jacobs of Bradenton, Florida, Ray D. and Betty Jacobs of Seale, Alabama, Norman Lomax and Elizabeth Jacobs of Ozark; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Annie Mary and Merle Glenn of Newton, Kathleen Cook of Ozark; one brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Barbara Scott of Ozark; five grandchildren, Michelle Jacobs, Renae Hunt, Jackie Quincey, David Jacobs, and Amanda Redding.
