Jeremy never knew me, and probably never knew I existed. I am his half sister, 5 years younger than him. I had tried before to contact him to get to know him, but I was mislead as to where he lived. I know it's too late to meet Jeremy, but I would still very much like to find out what he was like. All I have is pictures when he was a toddler and the little information my mother knows. Jeremy seems to have been a very wonderful young man. My deepest sympathies go out to his grandparents and the rest of his family who loved him very much.

Jemery taught me many things about teaching first grade children. I remember one day when his grandmother brought him into my class and needed to have a little chat with me. Jemery thought that he would see how far he could get and put his bookbag over his head and began to walk around the room. His grandmother quietly said to me "I don't know how you do it." I asured her that he was putting on a show for her and that he would be fine. He was back to normal as soon as she left. Yes Jeremy loved attention. I also remeber our end of the year play when Jeremy got to dance. The song was "Peanut Butter and Jelly". It was his favorite. Needless to say he put on a show-chef hat and all.He loved life and lived it to the fullest even with his limitations. He was always a shining star student in my first grade class. I can still see Jemery today saying to me "I hate you Mrs. Scott" as soon as I correct him and then one second later he would tell me "I love you Mrs. Scott" as his arms flung around my waist. God brought him into my would for a reason. I feel that reason was to show me how to love because he did it so well. My prayers are now for you and your family because I know Jemery is not longer stumbling behind but he is running with God.
