Obituary of Franklin D. Clark

Mr. Franklin Durell Clark, 84, of Daleville, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow with full Military Honors in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark from 5:00P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Monday evening. Mr. Clark was a native of Dale County where he served in the Army National Guard 193rd Tank Company prior to being called into active duty. He served during World War II and the Korean Conflict, retiring from the Army in 1961. He then worked as a television technician with Sears and Roebuck until his retirement in 1983. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Marguerette Horne Clark, one daughter, Salatha B. Clark, and one sister, Evelyn Lowe. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Dianne Clark, Tallahassee, Florida, one granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Clark, and one brother, James Earl Clark, Daleville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his memory to Wiregrass Hospice, 1970 East Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
