Obituary of James E. Outlaw

Mr. James E. Outlaw, Sr., age 90, of Ozark, died Tuesday morning, October 18, 2005, at his home following an extended illness Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, October 20, 2005, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend W. L. Sheffield and Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday evening. Mr. Outlaw was born July 30, 1915 in Dale County, where he was a life-long resident and self-employed as a building contractor. He was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Kirk, a grandson, Infant Sellers, and a granddaughter, Charlene Culverhouse. Survivors include his wife of over 70 years, Marie Whigham Outlaw, Ozark, four daughters, Christine Knight and her husband, Charles, Mosheim, Tennessee, Janice Sellers, Hueytown, Alabama, Fronnie Culverhouse and her husband, Charles, Ariton, and Belinda Buckinger and her husband, Mark, Ozark, two sons, Holman Outlaw and his wife, Juanita, Brundidge, and James E. Outlaw, Jr. and his wife, Eleanor, Ozark. Seventeen grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his memory to Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Mr. Jeff Johnston, 4789 North Hwy 123, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
