Mr. Brown was a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, having lived in Ozark for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, served during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He retired following 30 years of service. He was also retired from the Cannon Oil Company, following his work as Manager of the Ozark Store.
