Obituary of Debra Glaze Ottaviano

Mrs. Debra Ann "Debbie" Glaze Ottaviano, age 53, of Norris, Tennessee and formerly of Ozark, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2007, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, December 17, 2007, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Aman officiating. Interment will be in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Ottaviano was born June 26, 1954 in Ozark, the daughter of Jean McDuffie Glaze and the late James Chapman Glaze. She received her early education in Ozark Schools, graduating from Carroll High School. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree from Auburn University, Debra worked for Texas Instruments in Houston, Texas, until she became a "stay-at-home" Mom. Her love for her family was exemplified in her day-to-day life as she spent every moment caring for them. She also spent many hours preparing food for shut-ins and elderly. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Carroll Glaze. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Joe Ottaviano; one daughter, Kristen Ottaviano; one son, Joshua Ottaviano, all of Norris, Tennessee; her mother, Jean McDuffie Glaze of Ozark;one sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jack Thorne of Dothan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles "Bill" and Pat Glaze of Dothan, Danny and Petra Glaze of Midland, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
