Mrs. Spurlock was a native and life-long resident of Dale County where she was a member of Mabson United Methodist Church. She worked with Judy Bond Manufacturing for 28 years and with Phillip Van Heusen for 12 years. Mrs. Spurlock enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Spurlock, her parents, Lummie Davis Johns and Charlie C. Johns, one sister, Hazel Morris, and two brothers, Max Johns and Ross Johns.
