Obituary of Ben Teal Adams

Mr. Ben Teal Adams, age 59, of Clio, died Saturday morning at his home of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 24, 2007, from New Hope Congregational Church with Reverend Robert Foreman officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home in Ozark from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday and one hour before service time in the Church. Mr. Adams was born February 27, 1948 to the late Dewey Mae Teal Adams and Benny Adams. He graduated from Carroll High School and attended Troy University. He owned and operated his own construction company and was currently working with Tyler Hardware Company in Clio. Mr. Adams loved all of God's creations especially horses, and was an avid gardener. His family was important to him, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of New Hope Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Katrina Snell Adams of Clio; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Greg Boutwell of the Bertha Community; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Terra Adams of Ostrander, Ohio, James and Stephanie Adams of Ariton; six grandchildren, Kenny Wayne Musslewhite, Payton Boutwell, Easton Boutwell, Savannah Adams, Madison Adams, and Sydney Adams.
