Mr. Harlan Lawrence Horton, age 66, of Ozark, died Thursday morning, May 19, 2005 in a Dothan hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, May 21, 2005 in Holman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with full Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Friday evening, May 20, 2005. Mr. Horton was born November 3, 1938 in Chesaning, Michigan to the late Violet Ann Shuster Horton and Glen Horton. Mr. Horton served in the United States Army for 26 � years, with three tours of duty in Vietnam. He lived in Corpus Christi, Texas for nine years prior to moving to Ozark in 1975 where he owned and operated Horton's Locksmith Company until his retirement in 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, June Marie Brown. Survivors include his wife, Consuelo Horton, Ozark, one daughter, Virginia Godeke and her husband, Robert, Ozark, one son, Chriswell Horton, Dothan, one sister, Laura Richter, Owasso, Michigan, three brothers, Cloyse Horton, Shelby, Michigan, Alvin Horton, Owasso, Michigan, and Paul Horton, Harrison, Michigan, and two grandchildren, Andrew Godeke and Nicholas Godeke.
