Obituary of Neva Creel Heath

Mrs. Neva Creel Heath, 88, of the Post Oak Community of Ozark, died Sunday, January 9, 2005, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at Post Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Donald Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be in the Funeral Home Parlors from 3:00 P.M. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Monday evening. Mrs. Heath was born March 6, 1916 in the Post Oak Community of Dale County where she resided all of her life. She worked in food services at Carroll High School and Mixon Elementary School until her retirement. Mrs. Heath was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church and a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Heath, her parents, Margaret Marcella Paulk Creel and Marion Andrew Creel, one son, Gerald Heath, two sisters, Eura Creel Simpler and Mae Etta Creel Lisenby, and five brothers, Tommy Creel, Aretous Creel, Eletous Creel, M. A. Creel, and Raymond Creel. Survivors include one daughter, Sylvia Parrish, Dothan, two sons, Charles Eugene "Blue" Heath, Ozark, and Stanley Heath and his wife, Linda of Jackson, Tennessee, daughter-in-law, Sharon Heath, Ozark, and a Special Nephew Durwood "Buddy" Paramore and his wife, Elouise of Ozark, seven grandchildren, David, Rickey, and Michael Parrish, Regina Heath Sanders, Todd Heath, Betsy Heath Johnson, and Heather Heath. Nine great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Post Oak Baptist Cemetery Fund, Hwy 123 North, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
