Mr. Eugene C. Fink, age 66, of Ozark, died Thursday morning, July 27, 2006, in Flowers Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 4:00 P. M. Sunday, July 30, 2006, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Reverend Joe E. Lee officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 P. M. Sunday until service time. Mr. Fink was born February 2, 1940 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to the late Angeline Rosie Wurster Fink and Wendell Jay Fink. He moved to Ozark at age seventeen where he worked with Jordan Industries for over 20 years, and was a co-founder of F & W Construction Company in Ozark, retiring in 1997. Mr. Fink was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid blacksmith and member of Wiregrass Forge. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fink was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Murray. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Sadie Parker Fink of Ozark, one daughter, Phyllis Weed and her husband, Andy of Ozark, one son, Clayton Fink and his wife, Tammy of Southport, Florida, one sister, Karen Peterson of Ames, Iowa, one brother, Carl Fink and his wife, Evelyn of Story City, Iowa, eight grandchildren, Jeremy Fink and his wife, Kylie, Kristian Weed and his wife, Courtney, Shawn Weed, Andrew Weed, Alesha Joyner, Houston Richardson, Samantha Richardson, and Tanya Rowell, five great grandchildren, Jackson Clayton Fink, Cameron Weed, Will Creamer, Katlyn McLaughlin, and Jewell Rowell. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his memory to Victory Tabernacle, 3060 Dean Church Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
