Obituary of Barbara Ann Siegfried

Mrs. Barbara Siegfried, age 62, of Ozark, died early Thursday morning, July 26, 2007, at her home. Funeral services will be 4:30 P. M. Saturday, July 28, 2007, from the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Reverend Dr. Christian Eckert and Reverend Marty Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Friday evening. Mrs. Siegfried was born March 26, 1945 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to the late Caroline Kies Heimpel and William Carl Heimpel. She was a 1963 graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem. She and her late husband of 40 years, Edward J. Siegfried, moved to Ozark in 1979 from Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania when he was transferred with the Van Heusen Corporation. Mrs. Siegfried was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Stacy Siegfried of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Greg and Landra Siegfried of Ozark, one sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Jack Grace of Dothan, one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Heimpel, Jr. of Northhampton, Pennsylvania, three grandchildren, Jessica Lennon, Neal Siegfried, and Matthew Siegfried, and one nephew, Cavan Heimpel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, 167 East Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360, to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360, or to Westview Memorial Cemetery Association, P.
