Mr. Childs was a born in West Point, New York having lived in various locations with his family while his Father served in the Military. He has made Daleville his home for the past 35 years. He was medically retired from Civil Service at Fort Rucker as a heavy Equipment operator. His Mother Lettie Sue Rowland Childs preceded him in death in November 1999.
