Dianne, Janet and family, It was very sad for me to read of your mothers passing. I met your mother when I was in the third grade at Midland City, Dianne I also met you at a P.T.A. meeting as well. I know you will not remember . If not for your mother I would not be where I am today. She taught me to read and understand what I was reading. I called her one night and thanked her. Often, I would stop by your parents home sit and talk with she and your father. Often times Dale County's band would play like at Christmas or even a football game or two at Skipperville , I looked for her in the crowd or even you Dianne just to see how your mother was doing. Because of her teaching me to read along with other fine teachers I had they shaped me to be me! If I could tell Mrs. Doren, one thing it would be, "Thank you for helping me be the person I am." Again I am sorry for your loss. Because of her I own my own business and it is very well endowed.
