Mr. Howard Dean Umfress, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday, January 7, 2023. He was 66 years old.
A private family memorial service will be held for Mr. Umfress at a later date.
Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Umfress was born March 12, 1956 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Howard Neal Umfress and Vera Joan Cornell Umfress. He served in the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller and worked as a Journeyman Lineman with various power companies. He also worked with Fox Animation Studios as head electrician for several years. Mr. Umfress was an avid motorcyclist, riding his Harley Davidson every chance he got.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn "Tina" Higginbotham Rolston of Ozark; two sons, Christopher Umfress and Carl Umfress (Lindsey) all of Phenix, Arizona; two grandchildren, Maggie Mae Umfress and Oakley Dean Umfress.
