A grand gentleman and a consummate pilot. While stationed at Fort Bragg, Quincy and I put a U-8 Queenair onto a foamed runway at Fort Bragg. The partially extented gear collapsed. His professionalism made this incident a piece of cake. I'll miss knowing that his expertise is no longer available. He helped so very many of us to learn!

Mrs Bearden, Bo and all the girls, your husband and father was always an inspiration to me. He had such a great spirit and was always a leader, not only in his service to our country, but even more importantly to our God. I am forever grateful for his teaching and nuturing of all of us in High School. I pray for god's strength in your loss and the comfort of knowing that all of his flights are now effortless and with the supreme pilot, God. I love you.

Dear Mrs. Bearden, Pam, Bo, and all the family really, This family and all of us are so blessed to have had the privilege of Mr. Bearden's life and the Godly heritage that he left for each of us to strive to emulate for our families. I remember as a youth (many years ago at Ozark Baptist) going to gatherings at the Bearden home and it just seems that there was an open door policy or maybe more like a revolving door! Wonderful memories. I thank you for sharing your lives so freely. Love in Christ, Tanya

As a newly minted Caribou pilot joining the 1st Avn Co just prior to its deployment to Bangkok in 1962, I had the good fortune to be Quincy's co-pilot on that historic trip. Quincy was a strong Christian gentleman whom I've admired all these years. My condolences and prayers are with Maxine and all the family, and I grieve with them for what is truly a great loss for all of us. God bless, Gene Dewey
