Vicki was everything that I am not. She was outgoing, generous, compassinate, smart, funny, beautiful, resposible, loving and caring. She had a big heart and a sensitive nature. God blessed us all with her life and friendship. God blessed Vicki with a wonderful family. Her beloved mother and father. Two wonderful, caring and loving sisters and their husbands. Three sweet, beautiful nieces and their husbands and a precious new baby niece, Macy. God blessed her with an unimaginable amount of friends that loved her, knew her personally and cared for her deeply. In the last ten years we became close although we have been friends for many years. I will miss her more than I can express to anyone. I think one day we will be together in a place of peace. I will always cherish the talks and laughs we shared. She was my closest friend and I loved her.

It is at times like these that you want to remember the innocent times and the smallest details. I see Vicki with that small gap between her two front teeth, the tiny chickenpox scar that served as her beauty mark, blonde ringlets escaping that barette clasped on the back of her head, grinning widely as she raced down the hill on her bike in front of her house on Fairview Avenue--usually wearing her favorite kelly green dress with small pink flowers. I hope Vicki is flying down that hill right now, smiling with the sun shining on her face. I will always remember the good times with Vicki, Tina, Connie, Paige and Beth, and pass those on to her beautiful nieces- Jana, Kelley, Adrienne, and Macy.

Connie and Tina, I had to send an email to you from my computer since we knew that Vicki used it when she would be here. I think of ya'll nonstop...it doesn't get better, it just seems to get worse thinking that there might have been something that we could have done to help her. Kendall is having the hardest time since she felt that Vicki was her second mom...she called yesterday and said that she was getting mad at Vicki now...we all loved her so much. Why, Why, Why? Vicki was so worried about Cole. That is the last thing that I talked with her about...her concern for him. She brought us so much happiness and of course made it possible for Jack and me to travel. We could never have gone so far without her, especially when we didn't have any family here for so many years. My father thought that Vicki was the best looking woman that he had ever seen. She gave him special attention in the bank and he ate it up, just like so many others. Thank ya'll for sharing her with our family...she was one of us. I told her that when she got married she could get married out here and we would do it all for her. It just doesn't seem possible that this has happened. Thank you for asking to Jack to be a pallbearer. I told him to wear a good looking suit and look sharp for her because that would make her happy...if she only knew how these grown men are hurting now with her gone. Thank you for letting me see ya'll at your home the other night...I couldn't stay away. I realize that everyone felt special about Vicki. We loved her so much. I'm so sorry that I took that smile of hers for granted. This event has changed my life and I can't imagine how ya'll are feeling...plus those girls of yours whom she dearly loved. Thanks for this opportunity to let you know how I'm feeling and that if there is anything that I can do to help you all, please call on me. Love, Pat
